Diagnosis doesn't define a person. It's the journey! Doctors told us a lot of things when Madilynn was diagnosed with SCA 5. She wouldn't live a normal kid life, she'll never be independent, you're life will not be the same. We chose to prove those medical professionals wrong. Madilynn is strong and lives as much of a normal if not a higher level of a, "kids life." We continue to push Madilynn to her limits for her to know first hand she is a Warrior and can do anything she puts her mind to. Don't let a diagnosis change your dreams. Pursue them with all your might and just figure out the way. No one can tell you how to live or what your limits are.
